Account basics

On the web sign-up screen, choose Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or enter your first name, last name, email, and password, then select Create account. If you already have an account, select Sign in and use your existing sign-in method.

Use the same method you chose when creating the account: Apple, Google, or email and password. If you use email and cannot remember the password, select Forgot password? from the sign-in screen. On the web, the Show password button lets you check what you entered; select Hide password to conceal it again.

If the account was created with Apple or Google, continue with that provider instead of requesting an email-password reset.

If the web app opens the welcome screen after sign-in, choose Start a group to set up a community, or Find your next game to open your personal home. You can play and organize with the same account; this choice does not assign you a permanent role. Browse the guides opens the walkthrough articles for players and organizers.

In the new web experience, Start a group opens the details, sports and access, and review steps. Once the group is saved, you can open its workspace or plan its first activity. See Create a group.

If you signed in from an invitation or a specific activity, continue from that link instead of choosing a new starting point.

  1. Select Forgot password? on the sign-in screen, enter your account email, and choose Send reset link.
  2. The web app shows Check your inbox. If an account uses that email, you’ll receive a password reset link. Give it a moment and check your spam or junk folder. Choose Send another link to request another email, or Use a different address if you entered the wrong one.
  3. Follow the link in the newest reset email and choose a new password. Use a password you haven’t used for this account. If it does not meet the password requirements, follow the explanation shown on the reset screen.
  4. After your password is updated, return to sign-in and use your new password.

If a link has expired or already been used, request a new one. A password that does not meet the requirements can be corrected without requesting another link.

Hop In Sports uses notifications for event reminders, waitlist promotions, messages, and registration changes. Review the notification preferences in the app and confirm that your phone also permits Hop In Sports notifications.

Update your name, display name, photo, bio, contact details, sports, and skill levels from Manage your profile. Mobile also includes profile visibility controls.

Use Messages and notification preferences to find mobile messaging, push, waitlist, and email notification controls.

Open Settings, scroll to the account controls, and select Delete Account. Review the confirmation carefully: deletion permanently removes the account and profile. Some records may be retained when legally required, including certain payment records.

If you cannot access the app, email support@hopinsports.com from the address associated with the account.

  • Never share a password or sign-in code.
