Find and join events

1. Open Explore

   Open the Explore tab to see upcoming events. Event cards show the date, location, and current capacity so you can quickly decide what to open.

2. Narrow the list

   Use the available filters to focus on the sport, format, skill guidance, or date you want. You can combine filters to find a more specific kind of game.

3. Review the event

   Open an event and check its location, time, price, skill guidance, available spots, host, and registration policy. Position-based events also show which positions still have room.

4. Register

   Select Register. Choose a position when the event uses position-based registration. For a paid event, review the amount and payment timing before confirming.

   For pickup in the web app, you can also review member pricing and choose whether to use an included visit, as explained below.

5. Join the waitlist when the event is full

   Select Join Waitlist if it is available. When an eligible spot opens, Hop In Sports sends a notification and gives you a limited time to accept.

Review paid-event terms before confirming

Some events collect immediately. Others save your payment method and collect at the displayed cutoff. The event page and confirmation screen show the policy that applies to your registration.

Pay now is non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend. You are charged when you register. Pay later saves your payment method and charges it at the displayed collection cutoff. Cancel before that cutoff to avoid the card charge. Once collected, cancelling or not attending does not entitle you to a refund. Review the terms shown before confirming your registration.

Review your pickup price in the web app

Pickup checkout shows the organizer’s price, any automatic membership discount, and your total. If you hold an eligible punch card or membership visit, select the checkbox beside its name to use it. Leave it unchecked to keep the visit and pay instead. You can uncheck it again before choosing Join pickup. If you have more than one eligible Pass or membership allowance, choose the specific balance you want to use. Checkout keeps each choice visible and shows its remaining visits; it spends only the balance you select.

Lesson and Facility Booking checkout use the same review. After choosing a time, you can select or remove an eligible Membership or punch-card visit and select or remove Group Credit. The summary shows the reviewed total and the cash amount left to pay. Pay Now Coaching Sessions and Facility Bookings are non-refundable if you cancel or do not attend; a group admin may issue Group Credit or a refund as a rare exception.

Under Have a promotion code?, enter your code and choose Apply. Changing the visit checkbox updates the price with that code. Choosing Remove removes the code and keeps your visit selection. If a visit already covers the total, the code is not used.

Wait for the updated price before joining. If it cannot be checked, choose Retry price; your choices are kept. If a selected visit is no longer available, uncheck it and review the payable total before continuing. Joining a waitlist does not spend an included visit. If the price, payment terms, or your selected balance changes before you join, review a fresh quote. The app does not switch to another Pass or charge a higher amount automatically.

After you register

The event appears in My Events. Open it anytime to review details or manage your registration. Keep notifications enabled so you do not miss schedule changes, host messages, or a waitlist offer.

If you cancel before the pickup starts, an included visit used for that registration returns to your balance. The cancelled registration keeps the original price, discounts, and included visit under Payment details.
