Withdraw from a tournament

Open your tournament entry and choose Withdraw.

Withdrawing always shows a preview before you confirm. It describes which future matches you are removed from and the payment or refund outcome you will see. Read it before confirming.

  • Before competition starts, you leave the field. No match results are created, and the organizer can rebuild the draw without you.
  • Once the tournament is active, any undecided match involving you becomes a forfeit. Matches that already have a submitted or confirmed result stay as they were.
  • Your entry keeps its history. Results are never deleted.

If you are a team captain, check what happens to the rest of your team before withdrawing.

Refunds for tournaments are not issued automatically today. Withdrawing records that you are leaving; it does not transfer money back by itself. Ask the organizer directly if you are expecting a refund.

If you are on a team but not the captain, you may be able to leave the team, which releases your roster spot. If you were invited but have not accepted yet, you can decline the invitation instead.

Once rosters are locked, only an organizer can change a team’s roster. Ask the organizer if you need to leave after that point.
