Manage your registration
-
Find the event
Open My Events or your profile and select the event. Your events are grouped by their current relationship to you, such as upcoming, past, or waitlisted.
-
Leave the event when your plans change
Open the event and choose the leave or cancellation action:
- On mobile, select Leave Event in the registration section.
- On web, open the event actions menu and select Cancel Registration.
Confirm the result shown by the app before continuing. Leaving the event releases your spot for another player.
- For a free event, cancellation releases your spot.
- For an immediate-payment event, a player cancellation releases the spot but is not refundable.
- For a deferred-payment event, cancelling before the displayed collection cutoff prevents the charge.
- After payment collection, a player cancellation releases the spot but is not refundable.
-
Leave a waitlist
If you are waiting for a spot, open the event and select Leave Waitlist. Confirm the action. Your waitlist entry and position are removed, so you will no longer be considered for a promotion from that entry.
-
Manage guests
When the organizer allows guests, use Add Guest during registration or from the event page. Guests count toward event capacity, and you are responsible for their attendance and any amount charged for them.
-
Respond to a waitlist offer
When a spot opens for you, the event shows A spot opened up! and the promotion expiry time. Select Accept Spot or Decline. On mobile, confirm your choice in the dialog. On web, the action completes from the promotion card.
Accepting registers you for the event. Declining gives the opportunity to the next eligible player. If the promotion expires, you can rejoin the waitlist if the event still accepts waitlist entries.
Pickup pay-later cutoff
Section titled “Pickup pay-later cutoff”On the web, for a Pickup registration with non-refundable terms, cancel before the displayed collection cutoff to avoid the charge. At or after that cutoff, cancelling releases your spot but the fee remains due, even if the card charge is still processing. Payment still due means your saved payment method can still be charged. It does not mean payment has already succeeded.
The cancellation preview shows the terms accepted for your registration. Previously promised refund windows are still honored.
If a scheduled card charge needs authentication, your Pickup receipt shows Verification needed. Choose Verify payment to finish that same payment. The fee you accepted and any group credit already applied stay the same.
Group cancellations and exceptional refunds
Section titled “Group cancellations and exceptional refunds”Pay Now cancellations and cancellations after the Pay Later cutoff do not automatically receive a refund or credit. Any exception requires a group admin’s decision; do not assume a refund will be approved when you cancel. Contact the group to discuss an exceptional situation.
On the web, an admin-issued return appears under Payment returns on your Pickup receipt, with its amount, method and reason. Returned as group credit is separate from a card refund. Refund pending means the outcome is still being confirmed; it does not mean the money has reached your card. Any group credit balance shown belongs to you and the issuing group.
If a group cancels an event, a group admin chooses whether to issue group credit or a refund for collected payments. Group credit is for eligible future events with that group. An approved card refund returns to the original payment method. Contact the group about the resolution for your payment; cancelling the event does not itself mean a refund has been sent.
Using group credit for Pickup
Section titled “Using group credit for Pickup”On the web, Pickup checkout shows the organizer’s price, any membership discount and your optional benefit choices. If eligible group credit is available, enter the amount you want to use and select Apply credit. The selected amount stays visible. Select Remove credit to keep it for another event. Changing a membership or punch-card use clears the credit choice so you can review the new remaining fee and choose credit again.
Credit pays part of your fee; it is shown separately from savings. For example, a $25 fee with a $5 membership discount, paid with $8 credit, leaves $12 in cash. You must review the current total before joining. If another checkout spends the credit first, refresh your price; the app will not silently charge more cash.
If applying credit would leave a card charge below $0.50 USD, checkout applies slightly less credit and shows the adjustment before you join. For example, on a $20 fee, choosing $19.80 credit applies $19.50, charges $0.50, and keeps the unused $0.30 credit in your balance. Covering the entire fee with credit needs no card charge. If the entire remaining fee is below $0.50, you can cover it fully with credit or contact the group; checkout will explain what is needed. Partial credit with a card payment currently supports USD.
When credit covers the entire fee, no card payment or saved card is required for that fee. Otherwise, Pay Now collects the cash amount at checkout; Pay Later saves a payment method for the cash amount and applies your credit when the registration confirms. Your receipt distinguishes applied credit, reserved credit and the cash amount.
For Pay Later, cancelling before the displayed collection cutoff restores your applied credit and stops the future cash charge. Pay Now and cancellation after the cutoff keep the accepted non-refundable terms. An admin can approve an exceptional return. Original credit returns as credit, never as a card payout; only the cash-funded portion can be refunded to the original payment method. If a missed Pay Later deadline releases your place without retaining the fee, the original group credit returns. A selected visit is restored when play has not started.
For Pay Later, the receipt’s scheduled amount is the cash left after credit. Open Payment details to see the full fee and credit breakdown. Cancelling before collection restores the original group credit and cancels the scheduled cash payment; restored credit remains in your group balance.
