Assign officials
Open Manage tournament → Competition → Schedule and choose the Officials tab.
Assign someone to a match
Section titled “Assign someone to a match”- Choose a stage to narrow the match list, or leave it showing all stages.
- Select the match.
- Search for the person by name.
- Choose their role.
- Assign them.
| Role | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Official | A general match official. |
| Referee | The referee for the match. |
| Umpire | The umpire for the match. |
| Scorekeeper | The person keeping score. |
You can assign more than one official to the same match.
Remove an official
Section titled “Remove an official”Open the match in the Officials tab and remove the assignment.
What officials can do
Section titled “What officials can do”An official opens the same match page as the competitors. They see result actions only while they are assigned to that match and permitted by it — removing the assignment takes those actions away immediately, without them needing to sign in again.
Officials do not need tournament management permissions. Assigning someone is what gives them access to that match.
