Prepare and publish tournament competition
First confirm competitors. The setup shown when you created the tournament was an estimate; the draw uses the competitors who are actually ready to play.
Prepare a structure draft
Section titled “Prepare a structure draft”- Open Manage tournament → Competition → Prepare draw.
- Choose Prepare draw.
- Review each division’s proposed stages, pool sizes, advancement, and match counts. Check the proposal against the format you intend to run.
Open Customize draw to access Seeding, Pools, and Brackets tools. Use these for the relevant competition stage rather than treating every tab as a required step. When the structure offers pool customization, follow that control to review who plays in each pool.
Publish the reviewed competition
Section titled “Publish the reviewed competition”Resolve any issues shown by the draft, then choose Publish draw and review the confirmation. Publishing the structure creates opening matches and makes competition changes visible to players. It does not assign all match times. The tournament page and finish review show the published format for each division, including a format changed in the draft.
Pool and bracket drafts also have publish actions. Review the draft you are working on before confirming; publishing one draft is not the same as publishing the entire tournament or its schedule.
Next, open Competition → Schedule to assign match times and locations. Use View tournament to check the public presentation.
Change a published draw
Section titled “Change a published draw”Under the published structure, choose Review structure change when available. Review the affected competitors and matches before applying it. The change flow replaces only eligible unscheduled, unplayed opening matches; scheduled or played matches can prevent replacement.
For a tournament with no current entries and no matches, use Settings → Edit competition setup instead.
