Check in entrants and track attendance

Open Manage tournament → Participants → Check-in. On a phone, reach the tournament through Groups first — see Find your way around.

Check-in becomes available once competitors are confirmed, and stays available while the tournament is Upcoming or In progress.

Tournaments are managed in the web app. The mobile app does not have tournaments yet.

Tournament check-in is a one-time arrival confirmation for the tournament entry. It confirms the entry’s roster, requirements, and payment are settled. It is not a substitute for resolving those — an entry with missing requirements or an unpaid balance still needs attention first.

  1. Use the search box to find a team or competitor, or leave it empty to review everyone.
  2. Filter by arrival state, division, payment state, or readiness to narrow the list.
  3. Mark each arrival as Checked in.
  4. Mark anyone who has not arrived as a no-show when their first affected match is approaching.
  5. Use reset if you check someone in by mistake. They return to the expected list.

The list shows totals for entrants, needs attention, needs payment, and due later, so you can see what still needs work before play starts.

Daily attendance for multi-day tournaments

Section titled “Daily attendance for multi-day tournaments”

A multi-day tournament has one check-in per entry and a separate attendance record for each playing day. A team that arrives on Saturday does not need to repeat tournament check-in on Sunday.

During play, open Run and choose the playing day. Each competitor shows as waiting, here today, or not attending. Run is a tab across the top of the tournament workspace; on a phone, swipe the tab row to reach it.

  • Marked here today records that the team is present for that day.
  • Marked not attending records that they are not playing that day.
  • Resetting attendance returns the team to waiting.

Captains can confirm their own team for the current day from their tournament entry using We’re here. That records arrival only. It does not complete the entry’s requirements, agreements, or payment, and it does not replace tournament check-in.

Organizers remain the authority for corrections — you can change any team’s attendance for the day, including overriding a captain’s confirmation.
